How I ended up in Elbe, Washington (Population = 21)

Erik here, and as I write this I am sitting on a parked train… somewhere near the top of Mt. Rainier outside Elbe, Washington.
It’s cold and grey, spitting rain… And we are in the middle of nowhere. According to the last census there were only 21 brave souls who live here… and none of them are around.
The train left from a muddy parking lot, at the end of an unmarked gravel road…
And took us even farther from civilization…
How the heck did we end up here?
Well, we came here to ride the “snowball express” (a restored steam engine) up the mountain, through the tunnels and snow, to see good old Santa Claus…
Even crazier? My wife found this trip, researched it, bought tickets, and printed directions… All from our home 3,000 miles away in Florida.
Thanks to the Internet.
Most website traffic starts with a search. The Internet is growing by leaps and bounds every year, with more and more people building websites and making money… and as we close out another year I ask you:
Will you be one of them?

If the Internet can bring a small family 3,000 miles to Elbe, Washington…
What can it do for you?
