I think I figured out where I failed my customers…
Erik Stafford here… and I have stumbled on to something that has blown my mind:

I have spent the last few weeks digging around, trying to learn as much as I can about these new underground methods…
And while I am excited about discovering them, it has caused me some serious concern because it looks like what I have been ‘preaching’ to you for the past year may not be entirely accurate.

I told you that the first step to creating success online is to use my system to build a squeeze page so that you can capture leads and build a list.
It turns out that there may be an easier way that takes less time to setup and creates profits quicker: in as little as two weeks in some cases, believe it or not…

I told you you need to be passionate about your topic, niche, or industry so that you could write about it in an emotional, real way.
This system works in any industry and it doesn’t matter if you are passionate about it or not, because you never have to create any content!
This discovery has made me take a hard look at my products and where they may fall short…
I think I assumed that you know what you want to do with your website…
And the truth is that many people have NO IDEA what they want to do with their website!
And even if they do, they still need to figure out what to sell, how to create those products, how to write compelling copy, and how to generate traffic sources so there are buyers coming to the website…
Well, it looks like I may have found a method that removes ALL these headaches…
While it hurts to admit it, I think I have found a system that essentially answers all the questions that I haven’t answered for you.
I am sorry if I have let you down.
I am working like crazy to learn more about this stuff. Hopefully I can make it up to you by setting up a private call with the guy who showed me all of this, so that I can share it with you too…

Hi Eric, Thank you for your honesty. I know it isn’t always easy to admit somthing like this. I am sorry that I stopped working with Faster Webmaster. I just started Mary Gersten’s CMPS porgram in Jan’08, and I’m new at all the aspects of marketing. I need to close the learning curve gap before I continue, so please be patient, but not too patient! Okay? I got addicted to purchasing and downloading all the free stuff and things that sounded good and thought I needed. So, now I’m overwhelmed by it all. I get emails from everyone and can’t keep up with it all. I can’t accomplish anything at this rate.
I really need to concentrate on CMPS cerification, but also on how to build a list. I don’t have a single soul to market to! I have no email list. And I don’t know how to promote anything as an affiliate yet. Wish me luck!

Thanks for your email. I think the biggest problem I have starting something new is knowing where to start. There are so many emails in my box now it’s pitiful. What is good, what is not? Everybody wants my phone number and my money. There is little of that and I’m on the phone all day at work. There’s got to be an easier way to weed through all of this and find something worthwhile.

hello Erik, thanks for all the mails u have ben sending i really do appreciate becuase they have really inspired me to do all i can and leave nothing out in my quest for online marketing and joining affiliate programes round the globe via net.but my major problem has been where i reside in Africa.i have all it takes to do all the marketing but for me to chaneel my commisions into my account has been one militating factor .how can u in any way help with this .Ilive in Nigeria. i have couple of my own e-books i have written which i want to sell online but how do i channel my retuns to my account since here in my country we do not use stuffs like Credit cards ,paypal,clikbank and the rest.but i have an e-gold account and also have acces to collect western union tranfers here in my country .but i would like to use others as well too.thanks as i hope to get a suiting reply from u soon .

Hi Erik,
I just read this blog and the comments and really relate to Rosemary Amador, I have been trying to find something to sell that I am passionate about. I have also been learning for 4 months how to build a website, how to market, how to build lists, how to close the deal and on and on and on. Now you say you have something better and can save time and effort and you don’t need to find something passionate.
I have spent way too much on free stuff and $10 to $50 to save time and money programs but I still don’t have a product to start promoting.
I am ready to make serious money, because I am broke and now have no job. Tell me the best plan to start with, without me having to learn HTML and Digg and Facebook right now. All that stuff makes me think there isn’t enough time in any week to do all there is to get going on the web. I hope there is an easier way.
