    Ask for what you want is a more powerful statement than people realize. You were upgraded to a suite by basically soft selling the receptionist. You brought up the fact, in passing, that you would like a suite. Then you immediately followed up with humor and personalized the experience between the two of you.

    This interaction is EXACTLY what makes for long term customers. You give a call to action, in your case it was a room upgrade… Pull back and personalize the interaction and allow the other person to sell themselves. Put the decision in their hands instead of imposing yourself and your point.

    Wish I was in Philly with ya my Ninja! Tell everyone I said hi and let’s get together soon for a BBQ and swimming :)
