I know all too well about the effects that fear can have on a person. It will swallow you whole if you let it. It will re-define you as a person and a Father. Don't go there. Your son is looking at you very closely, not wanting to see the same fear in "Dad" as he feels. I can say that from experience because at the age of 34 when I had my brain aneurysm, I looked at my Dad hoping to see anything else but fear. The Good Lord will take great care of him through you and your wife I'm sure. Have faith and everything will work out just fine. If you get sick from worry, you won't be able to take care of him.
